Chili Flakes, Marash

Marash Chili from Turkey is also known as Maras Biben. This chili has depth in flavor and character. Chocolate, fruit and mustard flavors fill out this medium hot chili (about the heat level of Serrano chili). It is beautiful, rich red color and naturally moist with essential oils which make it perfect for that presentation sparkle and flavor. Blend with fennel to sprinkle over salads. Commonaly used for chicken, lamb, beef and pork.
