Cilantro, Domestic

Cilantro is the leaf of the coriander plant. Cilantro has a flavor similar to parsley and citrus. Used primarily in Mexican, asian and Middle Eastern cuisine. Used like dry parsley flakes for salsas, soups, sauces, and chili. Technically, cilantro should be referred to as coriander leaf, though the coriander plant is most often referred to as the cilantro plant in the USA.
